In the two-piece overlap division, boots typically had an upper cuff with two pivots and rivets holding the cuff to the shell at the rear. The Shadow breaks new ground in eliminating the rear rivets and using a 2nd Suspension Blade attachment above the calcaneus. The new design promises to add an even more progressive quality to the legendary Lange flex and moderate some of the harshness felt at the limit of both forward and rearward loading. The all new "HV" Series makes all this possible for those with wide and high volume feet.
