The updated design features a more durable ripstop mesh upper, built to handle high mileage and rough terrain without falling apart. It’s lightweight but tough exactly what you want when you’re putting in serious trail time. 

Underfoot, the Altra EGO™ midsole delivers a balanced ride soft enough for comfort, but still connected enough to keep you stable on uneven ground. A revised foam makes it lighter while maintaining that classic Lone Peak feel. 

Traction gets a big upgrade with a Vibram® Megagrip outsole (on the 9+ version), giving you better grip across loose dirt, rock, and mixed conditions. The aggressive lug pattern helps with climbing and braking on descents, making it a reliable choice for varied terrain.

Like every Lone Peak, it sticks with a zero-drop platform and FootShape™ toe box, letting your foot sit naturally and your toes spread out huge for comfort and stability on long efforts.
